Jared and Kristin

This last week has been farely busy with a lot of planning and it feels good to get some more momentum going. Jared and I started our gift registry at Walmart and plan to continue adding to that one and others as we get a better idea of what we'd like to have for our house. We are still looking for a house to live in and we are deciding on what we want to put IN our house; furniture, colors etc... Just the other night, we looked at our first house but we're hoping to look at a few more before we make any decisions.

This Saturday, our parents got together and we talked about the wedding and made some suggestions, decisions, and such. We all agreed that it was really good to go over things and know what the plan is! (at least I know I feel much better after that!!).... Now, we just have to finalize the guest list (the hardest part of planning in my opinion).

On Monday, we met with our Photographer, Patty Boge of Off the Page Photography in the City. She was great and we both really liked her! We will also be taking our engagement pictures, hopefully this coming Saturday, and you can see them on that website too. If there are any you would like to order, it is best if you email her yourself as the prices on the site are US... not sure why but they are... so it makes them cheaper to contact her yourself. Pictures for the wedding itself will be on the site a guarenteed three months after the Big Day.

On the same lines as the photos...
If you know you will want a professional picture of our wedding, order in the next two weeks (before Feb 8) to get them at a cheaper price... much more appealing than the regualar rates so call me ASAP and let me know what size you want and then after the wedding, you pick the pose you want to be printed in that size. Please also remember to get the payment to us ASAP as well... so exciting!!

Thankfully, many things are falling into place and we're excited to say that it's four months (as of today) 'till our wedding!!! WOW! So much still to do but YAY that it's so close!! We also leave in a couple weeks for Florida with a bunch of friends to watch the Daytona 500! It almost feels funny to leave the warm Manitoba winter here for the beach... but, I guess if it's already planned... :) Ok, to be honest, I even started packing last night.
